Poem: Ganesh from ‘Songs/Poems II’
In the morning you see
Sometimes it takes me
Too long to wake up, I still win though
Because of the power
I get after I shower
From the elephant god in my window
Oh Ganesh isn’t fresh
Or wiry like mesh
In fact he’s older than he is new
But although he can’t prance
Like the Lord of the Dance
He’s much cooler than Vaak or Vishnu.
